Proselyting

Hello everybody! I hope this email finds you well (It feels weird to say that). I've had a good week. I helped a lot of missionaries with a lot of lessons in a lot of areas. I got to work with English-speaking elders in Wells, Spanish-speaking sisters in Wells, and Spanish-speaking elders in Elko. Cool stuff. We've decided to cancel English class on Mondays, because nobody has been coming to those for a long time. I went to Family Home Evening at the YSA. We played Murder in the Dark again. I was the murderer for the first time. And I won! On Tuesday I got to go work at my grandparents' house, which I really missed doing last week. Sadly, I didn't get to go anymore than then, but I hope that I can this upcoming week. The one day I was there, I typed up about half of this super long document. It was good. I taught English class on Wednesday, and only Rosa could come, but it was good! I also took over English class in Elko, because Brother Thomas had to drive the school...

I hope that you all are doing okay. I've had a week! Good things definitely happened, and it was super busy out here! I had to go to town every single day! I missed being able to go to my grandparents' to work on family history. I hope I'll get to do a lot more of that this week. On Monday, I helped my little brothers with homeschool because my mom had to go to Elko. I took Omar to band and then hung out in Wells with my brothers. We visited our friend and ward member, Lanny Bates, and had a very nice time with him. H's a great guy, and he told us about some cool crystal caves that we should go to some time for youth activity. Monday evening, nobody came to English class. I went to Family Home Evening at the YSA branch. We played Gator-ball, which is a lot like soccer. It was alright, but I feel like I was too aggressive. Other people were being aggressive too, but that's no excuse for me. Overall, it still was fun. On Tuesday, I got to help with FBLA regionals. I ...

Hello Everybody, how are you doing? I hope that you've all have had a good week. I got to got to the Spanish Branch for the first time this last Sunday. It was good! There were less people than I thought there would be. We met in the Sunday School room in the church next to Home Depot in Elko. It was good, I enjoyed it. At Family Home Evening with the YSA Branch, we did a painting night. It went well, except for my painting. I don't think you can tell who it is. Whichever one of you can tell me what it is, I will give you a whole whopping nothing! At Game Night with the same branch, we played Dodgeball. I didn't like it too much because I'm not very good at it. I should practice more so then I will be good. I went to FISH, as always, with the Spanish Elders. It was a little different because I got to meet some Elders in a trio that covers a part of Elko and all of Carlin. I was gonna go to do Volleyball with the Spanish Branch yesterday, because I found out that they ...

Temple Certified

Well, I'm officially a temple worker now. Yesterday I got to go to the Jordan River Temple for my first time working as an ordinance worker & training. It was so good! I've already got a bit of stuff memorized, and got to do a bit of work. I'm very excited to really get this going. I'm also very glad I got to put some of my new Spanish skills to good use in the Spanish Endowment Session! My parents have been working there for more than three yeras. Once a month, they go, and now I get to join in with them. Once our Elko Temple is completed, we will transfer to there, but who knows when that will be? I keep hearing a lot of different and contradicting things about the open house of the Elko Temple about when it's gonna be. I've heard it could be in March, June, this fall, next fall, all of it! At this point I'm expecting someone to say it'll be 2 years into the Millennium. I don't know who's spreading around all these rumors, but cut it out!...
