  Hello everybody! I hope you've had a good week. Mine has been pretty peaceful. I spent the vast majority of it digging up what I thought was Bull Thistle, when it was actually Canadian Thistle; which we actually can just spray to kill. I wasted a lot of time on that. The handline has been going pretty smoothly this week. I've just had to fix a couple things, but it's just been real nice lately. Today I tried making Shawarma. I don't know if it tasted anything like actual shawarma, but I liked it. I definitely took a few creative liberties with the ingredients. On Monday we helped the Carters with their branding. I wrestled calves again. It was awesome to see my Dahl cousins, and Hyrum was there too! It was all great. It did rain on us at about 1:00, so we just had lunch and left.   Hello everybody! I hope you're all doing well. I've been doing pretty awesome! Being able to use all the water in our house is great. We got to help the Carters with their branding this Friday. Other than that, nothing much has happened since finishing up plumbing. I got to work with my uncle Tabor and my cousins Ruby and Charlotte. It was really great to catch up with them. I was assigned to wrestle calves, which was fine, except that there were way too many people doing it. You had to race to work. We had steak for our lunch at the branding! It was great! There was lots of really good food there, maybe that's why so many people came. ;) I gave a lesson today in Elder's Quorum. It was based on Elder Kearon's talk this last conference. I'd highly recommend studying it if you haven't already. Something I sometimes have a hard time wrapping my head around is that we are children of our God.   Hello everybody, Plumbing problems are still going. We've started digging out where we're going to put a leech field. I'm excited for this to be over. I hate our only grocery store here. All the milk they had expired the 5th or the 9th of June. We go to town after that. I wish that a cheaper grocery store would come and put them out of business. We've got a new Elder! His name is Elder Waite. We heard that he was coming, prepped for him, and he arrived all in 3 days. He was serving as a proselyting mission in this mission and he's from Saratoga Springs, Utah. He seems pretty good so far. I've been enjoying the "Follow Him" podcast that my mom's suggested to me. It really has made studying Doctrine and Covenants more interesting. One thing that stood out to me, even though I read it a couple weeks a ago, was when Jacob said "Oh be wise; what can I say more?" That's one of my favorite scriptures. I want to be more wise.
