Called of God

Hi everyone! I haven't had a working phone in a while, so it's been harder for me to do everything, but I am finally writing. If you don't have time to read this email, that's fine. The title sums it up really well. A few weeks ago, this is what I had written before my phone broke: We got to go to the temple open house in Elko. We stayed overnight at my house in Starr Valley, got to shop at Walmart in Elko, and ate my dad's tacos. It was exciting. We also got a lot of free food this week. Of course we had 1 of our normal 3 dinners with just the Z's on Wednesday, but we had a ranch potluck on Monday for Labor day and a birthday party for Jennie Davis at a fancy restaurant of Friday. We also had a birthday party for Elder Enrico on Thursday, and my awesome Uncle Tabor got us free food at Rolberto's today. We also had our 5th Sunday church potluck last Sunday.   Cows are fine, unless it's when they break fences, or mainline risers, or mainline risers, or handline birdies, or make a mucky mess everywhere, or break into other pastures or orchards where they're not supposed to be. Lucky for me, that all happened in this last half of the week. Yay! Yep. On Wednesday we moved the same herd of heifers that we've moved between here and Rogers for the 3rd time. It was a bit of a pain, and continues to be a pain because they're in my handline field. All of that stuff has taken up the vast majority of my time. I got to drive a dump truck back from Rogers to put it away. That was fun. It's also been raining intermittently throughout the week, which has been nice. Digging bull thistle has been going strong in Pivot 2. I don't know where it all comes from. We got to help with a branding in Lund. It was very late in the season, so they didn't brand. We just used ear clipping for identification and vaccinated them. It was really...
