Fall Allergies, but Not Really
Hello everybody! I hope that you're doing well, I know that I am! This week was good. Although it was fast and slow at the same time.
I spent most of my time helping Elder and Sister Zenger. They're temporarily living in the ranch-hand house, because we have no ranch hand, and redoing the floors, plumbing, and painting of their house. I helped a lot with taking out carpet, baseboards, and moving things. I also started painting the trimmings. It's all good work, and it's good to be inside when it's getting so cold outside.
Even though it's been getting really cold, it sometimes gets warm enough that I take off my jacket while working outside, which is a nice balance. We've also just finished moving handlines, and we are about to start feeding. That's a trade I don't like since I'm pretty allergic to hay and feel miserable even hours after. The nice thing about that though is that it takes up until about 1:00, which is most of the day, so afterwards it's much calmer.
Lately, I've been getting back into family history, which is something I should've done long ago. One thing I loved about serving from home was going to my grandparents house for family history. Time spent with them working on something so important is irreplaceable to me. Family history is more important than we all know. Jesus wants us to focus on it. It's part of loving our neighbor.
Sincerely,
Elder Cobian
