Squeaky Cheese
Here's my weekly email, only slightly behind schedule. I've been reading the emails of my cousin, Elder Dahl. I'm a big fan of those, especially every time he's mentioned Dr. Pepper. It's great to read my cousin, Sister Johnson's emails too. It's cool that we're all serving at the same time.
I finished chopping up the bull thistle in Reservoir. I'm kinda glad to not be doing that just because of how long I've been doing it. I also found out that you can eat bull thistle. Basically the flower and the stem (skin them both unless you want to become a pin cushion). I haven't tried the stem yet, but the head was alright.
I'm now an expert at driving screws through sheet metal. We clad the roof on the new pump house, and I think it looks pretty good, mostly because I did most of the work. We got a flat tire in the truck on our way to work on it, and Elder Waite almost got Elder Enrico killed by climbing up in the truck to scroll on his phone. He made the truck roll off of the jack while Elder Enrico was jacking it up. Don't try that at home.
I think that I've made some panela. I made a small amount of cheese with raw milk from the Davis cow. Since it's squeaky, it's probably panela.
I've been helping Elder Lund with panels. I've done some of the prepping by cutting them to length and cleaning the rust off. He's been doing the welding. For this being his first time, he's pretty good. He's also going home on Tuesday. I'm going to miss him a lot. He's one of the most consecrated and humble missionaries I know. He is a hard worker and a good friend. We need more missionaries like him. He's a person who really cares, and I've learned a lot from him.
Sincerely,
Elder Cobian
