Master Handline Repairman
Hello everybody!
I'm sorry that I didn't write last week. Especially to you, Grandma. I was busy, but should have tried to make time for writing this. Sorry.
Elder Lund left, which was very sad. He's one of my favorite companions that I've had on the mission. He has taught me so much, and I know he'll do well in college and whatever else he does after the mission.
With Elder Lund gone, that means that I'm in charge of a lot of things that he was. I'm now doing his handline and Elder Waite is doing my old one. I also now take salt and mineral to almost all of the cows, which is something that he always did. On top of that, just about anyone who would have had Elder Lund help them with a project or something asks me to help them. I hope that I'm up to it.
This week I got to do some dragging again! Although, this time, it was for a different purpose. The new pivots over at Roger's needed to be planted, and discing was not enough to break up some massive divets. It was super bumpy, but not bad. I should have had more foresight that I wouldn't be able to come back for lunch. I didn't pack a lunch, didn't have breakfast, and didn't come back home until 8:00. But overall, it wasn't so bad.
I've been helping with a lot of little things here and there, but man, it cuts into my bull thistle killing time. Oh well.
Today was the mission reunion. I got to meet a lot of the people who have worked here and on the other church ranch. We also had some amazing food! I probably ate the biggest steak I've ever seen!
We've started having a dedicated time for personal study, which is something that I really missed from proselyting. Having a set period to spend time with the Lord is doing me good. I just want to use it and all my time better.
Take care,
Elder Cobian

My first plate. Maybe its hard to see with the picture, but the stick of butter is standard size, so the steak is massive!
A beautiful view in one of the pivots. I think this is four or five?
