Machete!

Hello everyone! I hope that you've had a great week! Mine has been pretty good.

The reservoir has had bull thistle absolutely everywhere! Cade had me start cutting it instead of digging it up, because the main goal is to keep them from going to seed. After a few things, I found that the machete works really well! It definitely reminds me of macheting in La Masica.

My handline has had a hard time standing upright, and the deer flies make setting it up a whole lot more irritating. I'm not sure if it won't stand up because of poor water pressure, or that I've accidentally swapped some pipes so now they don't connect well? I don't know. But either way, it's not the worst thing ever.

The Zengers have been gone this week, which means that we haven't had dinners with them. I've missed that. We have had a dinner with the Davises, which was pretty great. It's also been good to take care of the Zengers' cats again.

Since the Zs weren't here to take us, Elder Greg Caldwell was nice enough to take us to visit Lehman Caves. It was very cool, even for a second time. He was also very generous and bought us all ice cream!

I've been thinking back to my time in Honduras. The time I spent there with those people really affected me, even if I didn't see it then. All of our experiences and choices in this life influence who we will become, especially our choices to choose right or wrong.

Sincerely, Elder Cobian
