The No-Good, Terrible, Very Bad Day

Hello everybody! I hope you've all been doing great. I'm sorry that I didn't write an email last week. I meant to do it, bit never got to it. Sad to say, I don't have too much more to write than I would have.

The vast majority of my time has been spent digging bull thistle. I really enjoy it! It's so nice and peaceful with nobody else around. I love listening to conference talks while I work, and I've even started listening to the "Follow Him" podcast!

My wrist has been getting better since I sprained it, but I've since sustained other injuries. While helping Cade with tire work, I cut off a big slab of skin off my thumb with a flathead screwdriver. Not great. A dry part of my hand also started hurting and cracking, but constant application of Vaseline had helped with that.

Friday was a really tough day. I had to move my handline to the top, during which I somehow lost my headphones that I was wearing around my neck. After I'd laid out the pipes at the top of the line, I had to go help Elder Lund with salt and mineral for the cows. Once I got back from helping him, the handlines were hot enough that they kept burning my hands. I didn't have gloves.

I might have said this before, but even though it's really hard, it's so worth it. I love just about everything about this place and my mission. I know that me being here is the right thing.

Sincerely, Elder Cobian
