(Not Quite) Home for Christmas
That's right, I'm going home. It's all happened so fast, that I don't know what to think or feel. I'll be switching to a service mission due to health reasons, and I don't know if I'll go back to proselyting. There's a lot of things I don't know, but I know that it's the right step to take. I'll be going home Thursday, so I won't quite be back for Christmas, but I'm spending it well here! Here they celebrate more on the 24th than Christmas day.
I'm trying to be as consecrated as possible. I have one full day of work left here, and I'm going to work as hard as I can.
Also, I found out that the husband of the Relief Society President is a gang boss. So that's why we can't go in her house, and how they're so rich.
Merry Christmas everybody! I hope you all remember the reason for the season. Something that's weird here is that there are a surprisingly large amount of people that don't celebrate Christmas. They say that it's a personal choice they make because it's not in the Bible. Maybe they forgot about Luke 2? Or maybe the entire New Testament? I don't know, but I do know that the reason I do celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ is because of His Atonement, His death, and His resurrection, which might sound weird, but it's the reason that we do everything in the Church. What Jesus Christ did for us is our reason to hope in the face of any hard things. I have hope because of Jesus Christ, and I will follow Him.
