Week 2
Hello everybody!
This week has been no less busy than the last, but without a doubt it has been much better. For our P-Day this week we only get three hours in the evening, but I'll get a better one next week. Classes have been much better in-person without a doubt. I've had some amazing spiritual experiences, and lots of fun. One thing I'm learning is that the Spirit can communicate even when I can't. I always feel the Spirit really strongly when one of our Spanish-speaking teachers teaches. I don't always understand his words, but the Spirit testifies that what he's saying is true. The food has been good. We've had some Mexican food and some American food. I would only consider one or two of the meals I've had to not have been very good. I've especially enjoyed having fresh mangos constantly and good things to drink. We've had some aguas frescas, horchata, and jamaica, which have all been pretty good. It is surprisingly dry here, so my knuckles have been cracking and bleeding, which is less than ideal.
Anyways, that's about all I've got. I hope you all are doing well. I'll probably send out a more detailed email on my actual P-Day this upcoming Wednesday.
Sincerely tired,
Ruben
My photos are from Memorial Day when we went to cemeteries in the Salt Lake area to honor our ancestors and also from the airport on Tuesday morning when I flew to the Mexico City MTC:
